The terms on which you may use the SVG Airports website and the planning tools published on it.
1. Who we are
This website is published by Argyle International Airport Inc. (AIAI), the state-owned company that operates the national airport system of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean AIAI, and "the site" means this website and everything published on it.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. The site is published for guidance only
The site exists to help passengers, visitors, and businesses prepare for travel through our airports. It is general information, not advice, and it is not a substitute for the requirements set by the authorities and companies that actually make the decisions.
Immigration, customs, and security requirements are set and applied by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and its agencies. Flight schedules, baggage allowances, and conditions of carriage are set by your airline. Where anything on this site differs from what those bodies tell you, what they tell you is what applies.
We do not guarantee that information on the site is complete, current, or free from error.
We may change, correct, or remove any part of the site at any time without notice.
Nothing on the site is legal, immigration, customs, tax, or travel advice.
3. Planning tools
The site publishes interactive planning tools, including "Can I Visit?", "Can I Pack?", the Customs Calculator, and the flight information pages. Each tool applies published rules to the details you enter and shows you an indicative result. A result is a starting point for your own checks — it is not a decision, a permission, an assessment, or a guarantee of any outcome.
Can I Visit? — indicates entry documentation commonly required for a nationality, purpose, and length of stay. Only an immigration officer at the border can decide whether you are admitted, and additional requirements may apply to your circumstances.
Can I Pack? — indicates how an item is usually treated at screening, based on published item guidance. The screening officer at the checkpoint makes the final decision, and your airline and any connecting airports may apply stricter rules.
Customs Calculator — produces an estimate of import charges from published rates. It is not a customs assessment, a valuation, or a quotation, and the amount payable is determined by the Customs and Excise Department.
Flight information — arrival and departure information is indicative and can change at short notice. Always confirm your flight directly with your airline.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own travel planning or legitimate business purposes.
Do not use the site unlawfully, or in a way that damages, disables, or overburdens it.
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any connected system.
Do not scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the site, or reproduce it in bulk, without our written permission.
Do not present information taken from the site as an official determination of any authority, or in a way that misrepresents its source.
5. Intellectual property
The content of the site — including text, images, logos, layout, and design — is owned by Argyle International Airport Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
You may view, download, and print pages for your own personal or internal business use, provided you do not alter them and you keep any notices intact. Any other use, including republication or commercial use, requires our written permission. The AIAI and SVG Airports names, logos, and marks may not be used without our written permission.
6. Links and third-party services
The site links to airlines, ground handlers, concessionaires, government departments, and other third parties. Those sites and services are not under our control. We provide links for convenience and do not endorse, and are not responsible for, their content, availability, products, or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Services offered at the airport by third parties — including airlines, retailers, food and drink outlets, car rental companies, taxis, and banking services — are provided by those businesses on their own terms, even where we publish information about them.
7. Availability of the site
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict all or part of the site for operational, security, or maintenance reasons, and we are not liable to you if it is unavailable at any time.
8. Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its planning tools. This includes missed flights, refused boarding, refused entry, items surrendered at screening, charges levied on import, and any other consequence of relying on the site instead of confirming with the airline, authority, or business responsible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. These terms cover the website only
Your presence at our airports is governed separately — by the conditions of entry to the terminal, aviation security requirements, the directions of airport and government officials, your airline’s conditions of carriage, and the law of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. These website terms do not modify any of them.
10. Contacting us through the site
The site publishes telephone numbers and email addresses for enquiries, careers applications, lounge bookings, and business matters. Please do not send sensitive personal information, payment card details, or identity documents by email unless we have asked you to and told you how. How we handle what you send us is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is the version that applies, and the date it last changed is shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the site, are governed by the laws of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The courts of St. Vincent and the Grenadines have exclusive jurisdiction.
