Aggregate goods allowance
Qualifying goods acquired abroad for personal or household use, souvenirs or gifts, including goods for an accompanied passenger under 18. This exemption may be claimed once each year.

Declare all applicable goods.
Every arriving passenger must make a verbal declaration of goods acquired outside St. Vincent and the Grenadines. All applicable goods must be declared before leaving the controlled area.

Present all baggage
All owners should be present when family or group baggage is presented for examination.

Declare all goods
Declare purchases, gifts, goods carried for others, commercial samples and plant material.

Provide proof of value
Present invoices or receipts when requested. Customs may convert the accepted value to Eastern Caribbean dollars.

Complete clearance
Complete the required inspection and pay all assessed charges before leaving the controlled area.
The declaration must include purchases, gifts, items carried for another person, goods for sale, commercial samples and plant material. Customs assesses ordinary personal effects separately.
Passenger allowances.
Passenger allowances apply only to declared goods accepted by Customs as qualifying personal baggage. Commercial quantities and goods intended for sale are excluded.

Declare all food, seeds, plants and fresh products. Obtain any required import permit, phytosanitary certificate, health inspection or import licence before arrival.
