1. The short version
This website is built to need as little information about you as possible. There are no accounts to create, no forms that submit data to us, and no advertising or analytics trackers.
The site sets no cookies and does not track you across websites.
The planning tools — Can I Visit?, Can I Pack?, and the Customs Calculator — run entirely in your browser. What you enter is never sent to us and is gone when you close the page.
We receive personal information mainly when you choose to contact us, for example by email, telephone, or a job application.
Our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs of requests to the site so it can be delivered and protected.
2. Who we are and what this policy covers
Argyle International Airport Inc. (AIAI), the state-owned operator of the national airport system of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our contact details are at the end of this page.
This policy covers this website. It does not cover the separate processing that takes place in airport operations — for example security screening, immigration and customs processing, closed-circuit television in the terminal, airline and ground-handling systems, or employment records. Those are handled under their own arrangements, and in many cases by the airline or government authority responsible rather than by us.
3. Information you give us
The site does not submit anything to us on your behalf. Personal information reaches us only when you deliberately send it — normally by using one of the email addresses or telephone numbers published on the site.
General and customer service enquiries: your name, contact details, and whatever you choose to include in your message.
Careers applications: the details in your application, CV, and supporting documents.
Lounge, conference room, cargo, concession, advertising, and other business enquiries: your contact and business details, and the details of your request.
Lost property reports: a description of the item, your travel details, and how to reach you.
4. Information collected automatically
Like any website, this site is delivered by servers that record technical details of each request. Those records are created and held by our hosting and content delivery provider on our behalf, and are used to serve pages, keep the site secure and available, and investigate faults and abuse.
The internet protocol (IP) address the request came from.
The date and time of the request and the address of the page or file requested.
The browser and operating system reported by your device, and the referring page where one is sent.
Security signals used to detect and block attacks and automated abuse.
5. The planning tools do not send us your answers
The interactive tools on this site were built so the details you enter stay on your device. The rules and reference data they apply are downloaded with the page, and the result is worked out in your browser.
Can I Visit? — your passport country, purpose of travel, intended length of stay, and any recent travel you add are used only in your browser to produce the result shown on screen.
Can I Pack? — the items you search for are matched against reference data already loaded in the page.
Customs Calculator — the values and goods you enter are used only to calculate the estimate displayed to you.
None of these entries are transmitted to us, stored on our systems, saved on your device, or used to profile you.
7. Providers we rely on
We use a small number of service providers to publish and deliver the site. Where they handle personal information, they do so on our instructions and under contract.
Hosting and content delivery: Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the site from servers around the world and provides its security protections. Request logs described above are held by Cloudflare on our behalf.
Content management: Sanity publishes the editorial content of the site. Some images are served from Sanity’s content delivery network, so your browser’s request for those images reaches Sanity, including your IP address.
Fonts and icons are served from this site itself, so displaying a page does not send a request to a third-party font provider.
Links to airline, government, partner, and social media sites take you to services we do not control, each with its own privacy policy.
8. How we use personal information, and on what basis
We use the information described above to run the site and to deal with what you send us.
To respond to your enquiry, complaint, report, or business request, and to keep a record of our correspondence.
To assess job applications and manage recruitment.
To operate, secure, and improve the website, and to investigate faults, misuse, and security incidents.
To meet our legal, regulatory, and public accountability obligations as the operator of national airport infrastructure.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.
10. Where information is processed
Our providers operate global infrastructure, so information relating to your use of the site may be processed on servers outside St. Vincent and the Grenadines, including in the United States and Europe. We use established providers and rely on their contractual data protection commitments to protect information handled in this way.
11. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, and for any period required by law or by our record-keeping obligations as a state-owned company.
Correspondence is kept while your matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can deal with follow-up questions.
Recruitment records are kept for the duration of the recruitment process and for a limited period afterwards, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Technical request logs are short-lived and are retained by our hosting provider only for the period needed for security and troubleshooting.
12. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the limited personal information we hold. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send identity documents, payment card details, or other sensitive information by email unless we have asked you to and explained how.
13. Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us about the personal information we hold about you and ask us to put things right.
Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.

14. Children
The site is intended for a general audience preparing to travel and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will deal with it.
